Job Overview:

This position is responsible for providing general IT support to staff by installing, monitoring, supporting, providing advice and maintaining the computers, servers and networks so that users can function efficiently with regard to their day-to-day tasks. Internal Liaison takes place with all internal staff. External liaison takes place with all 3rd party suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• To provide general IT support to all Mukuru Africa staff to ensure problems are resolved efficiently.
• To setup, support and maintain desktops, laptops and applications to ensure optimal usage.
• To travel to IA branches to carry out installations or upgrades.
• To provide ad hoc support to the IT team when required.
• To manage own professional and self-development.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
• Knowledge of Ubuntu
• Knowledge of general IT hardware
• Knowledge of network principles

Job Experience:

• 1-2 years in IT support (Essential if without a qualification)

Education:

• A+ & N+ Qualification or equivalent similar 1 year qualification (Essential if no experience).
