Job Description

Join a successful mining company in South Africa. Our client is looking to appoint somebody who would be responsible for the day-day management of the mine.

Minimum requirements

• Qualification in Mining Engineering
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence
• Minimum 10 years in an underground mining environment
• Additional qualifications in management of finance highly advantageous

Physical Requirements

•  Certificate of Fitness
• An onsite medical examination will be completed on the day of the interview

Main duties

• Aside from main duties expected from a senior mine manager the appointed candidate would:
• Establish mentoring or training program
• Manage stake holding
• Manage capital projecting
