    Wordpress Developer

    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to work with our team of developers and designers on web and mobile projects that range widely in scale and budget.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Create WordPress based websites from start to finish
    • Create WordPress themes from scratch
    • Edit existing WordPress sites (both theme and plugin edits)
    • Create, edit and deploy: forms, galleries, 3rd party components
    • Build responsive html/css/js pages based on layered layouts

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain existing client WordPress sites and recommend best practice security updates and modifications
    • Develop new WordPress sites from ground up
    • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
    • Collaborate with other team members
    • Manage client server and hosting accounts

    Skills And Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS/CSS3, Javascript & jQuery
    • Strong knowledge of Wordpress including theme and plugin development
    • Proficient understanding of AWS as well as server deployment and management
    • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
    • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
    • BSc degree or relevant IT diploma.
