Job Description

Black Snow Digital is looking for a Junior-Mid Developer (PHP) with a minimum Three+ years' of web and application development experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development and execution of development solutions across websites, mobile, and other digital applications.

About you:

• You have exceptional Web and Application Development skills and understand the fundamentals of producing accurate, good looking and professional digital development work. Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail in all aspects of interactive development.
• Discovery and research: Assist in running workshops with clients, developing customer experience maps, and leading the strategic development direction during project discovery
• Planning and prototyping: interpreting the brief for medium and large projects, assist in developing tech specifications, assisting in wireframes, workflows and prototypes outputs.
• Development and execution: ensuring our clients development requirements of systems, application or campaigns are followed throughout the development process, and defining and leading the appropriate QA process
• Support: Assist in the collaborate with clients and design/development team members to construct amazing user experiences, maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code. Support and maintenance of existing applications and environments.

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Reliable transport (own reliable vehicle essential)
• Minimum Three+ years' (junior -mid level) development experience
• Strong hand coded - HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Object-oriented programming (OOP) PHP/MySQL
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, information architecture and responsive development process.
• Excellent writing, verbal and visual communication skills

Personal Skills/Attributes

Gross R15 000 - R25 000 per month

Advantageous

• Angular
• PHP MVC frameworks - Laravel
• Experience creating and integrating RESTful APIs
• Wordpress core development a Massive Plus!
• Mobile App Development skills an huge advantage!
