    Senior Systems Engineer

    Job description

    Our client in South Africa is looking for a Senior System engineer.

    Role:

    • Research, design, development & operations of Java based IMS nodes including but not limited to:
    • Home subscriber server (HSS)
    • Policy control and charging rules function (PCRF)
    • Online charging system (OCS)

    In addition as and when required if candidate has C programming experience
    Call session control functions (CSCF)

    Mandatory:

    • Bsc computer science or Engineering
    • 5 years hands on experience in mobile IP telecoms
    • 5 years enterprise java development experience on JBoss/Glassfish/Wildfly/TomEE or similar
    • Strong working knowledge of PCRF, OCS, HSS and IMS in 4G LTE networks
    • Strong working knowledge of Diameter & preferably SIP as well
    • Must be completely familiar with Linux and using Linux as a desktop and server environment
    • Passionate about IT & development

    Highly valued:

    • C/C++ development
    • Knowledge of JAIN SLEE (Restcomm - formerly Mobicents)
