We are looking for a skilled Front End Web Developer that has a passion to work in an established JSE company with a dynamic team in delivering our leading SaaS Communication platforms used by top corporate and service providers.

As a Front End Developer delivering web and mobile solutions, you will play a vital role in our existing team of developers. Your role will be influential in creating, guiding, contributing and developing a variety of technically challenging projects. You will provide a user-focused direction into our web based solutions deployed in a large cloud environment, as well as play an influential role in implementing modern front end technologies and design methodologies.

Key responsibilities and expectations of role:

• Conceptualising and designing responsive user interfaces and visually representing data in modern web and mobile products.
• Developing data driven applications using JavaScript, frameworks and libraries.
• Working with agile teams and successfully delivering agile based software projects.

Desired Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience working as a Front End Developer of data driven web applications.
• High proficiency in CSS and HTML as well as responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• High proficiency using JavaScript, JQuery and Angular.
• A level of proficiency when working with Microsoft Technologies and products, including Visual Studio.
• An excellent understanding of UX/UI principles.
• An understanding of popular software design patterns.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal skills.
• A creative mind

Highly desirable:

• Understanding of CSS pre-processors (SASS) and OOCSS principles.
• Experience with Angular 2 and TypeScript.
• Experience with Ionic.
• Experience with Angular Material and Flex Layout.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with MVC/WebAPI.
• Experience with, C#, Entity Framework and SQL Server.
• Experience developing user interfaces in business/financial systems.

Qualifications:

Relevant Diploma/degree or equivalent work related experience
