    Strategy Development and Financial Controlling Africa

    Job description

    Your responsibilities:

    • Strategy Development:
    • Strategy development, Develop vison, mission for new strategic initiatives
    • Strategy Process execution,
    • Strategic Portfolio Management, Conduct SWOT analysis/scenarios
    • Market Research on top level, Analyze future trends
    • Reflect goals and Target and pricing strategies
    • Prepare for annual Board Meeting and Strategy meetings with Automotive Aftermarket Africa Leaders.
    • Aggregate activities and monitor realization of strategic initiatives and tasks
    • Regional financial controlling
    • Monitor business indicators and consult Management
    • Management of business planning including quarterly sales on Planning systems and business forecast Planning
    • Controlling and overlooking the preparation of budgets and forecasts
    • Review of Monthly Business Report
    • Preparation of management accounts (regular controlling & reporting of relevant KPI e.g. Sales, Margin, Cost/budget, profit, etc.)
    • Improve visibility and importance of finance within the region, ensuring buy-in from all other operational areas
    • Provide decision making support for leadership team
    • Initiation and follow-up of regional measures turnover, Cost etc. with Head office in Germany
    • Preparation and discussion on important Senior Management and Board meetings and reporting into Head office
    • Supports the Region with special projects as needed

    Educational Requirements

    • Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business
    • Master’s Degree in a Business field preferable

    Job Knowledge and Skills

    • Consultant or chartered accountant with a good affinity to sales/marketing
    • 5+ years working experience
    • Good communication skills.
    • Self motivated, disciplined and service orientated.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Pleasure to work with
    • Fast understanding, intelligent
    • Broad thinking
    • Ambitious
