We have an exciting opportunity for aqualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning TechnicianexperiencedVariable Refrigerant Flow (VRF)to join our Johnson Controls team in ourCape Townoffice. This is a brand new role as we create and establish a new team to develop and grow our market share of this product range in South Africa.

As a Technician you will support our Installation Advice, Commissioning and After Sales Service team on our VRF systems. You’ll report to the National Sales Manager and will need to be a team player, who takes ownership when needed whilst following procedure and maintaining the highest standards.

To apply and be considered for this role you must be a qualified as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician, have a valid Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate and have strong experience in commissioning, installing and fault finding Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF)/ Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems.

Role Responsibilities

• Give advice on installations
• Be able to do fault finding
• Technical support
• Commission lnstallations
• Ability to communicate with clients, both verbal and in writing
• Document and report all visits to customer sites and work performed

To join this new & developing team it is essential that you can demonstrate the below requirements in your application:

• Be qualified as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician
• Have a valid Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate
• VRV experience – commissioning, installing, fault finding
• 5- 10 years work experience in a similar role
• Computer Literate
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Have a valid South African Identity Book/Card
• Have no criminal record
