Mandate
Your core mandate will be focused on monitoring and reporting on key metrics of the business, educating the sales eco-system best commercial practices and offering input to drive up efficiencies and ultimately enhance the team's ability to reach its goals (i.e. Quota attainment).
About the role
This role reports to the Finance Director and involves delivering metrics, trends and issues to various teams within Mimecast. In essence, this is a supporting role to our Sales Team and is an information lead to provide accurate information based on data. As the Sales Operations lead, you will be in joint partnership with the go-to-market team and its leaders reporting into the MEA Finance Director. In addition to this you will be required to own key sales administration tasks and other best practices, under the stewardship of the Finance Director, Global Sales Operations team and its leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering key performance measures to stakeholders
- Utilizing and implementing comprehensive pipeline reports to track opportunities, pipeline (hygiene), conversion and win/loss assessments
- Sales process/compliance and enforcement i.e. QTC “Quote to cash”
- Education to various “Go-to-market” stakeholders on CLTV “Customer life-time value” and empowering “Go-to-market” teams to apply such knowledge to its business plans and proposals.
- Driving the roll-out and adoption of the sales methodology, processes and tools that support the selling process and improvement of Customer Experience
- Special projects. E.g. Pricing practices in Tender/RFQs
- General sales administration including, Compensation plans, Systems upkeep and Budgeting
- Participate and collaborate with global Sales operations teams
Essential
- 4-6 Years' go-to-market experience
- Worked directly within (or with) a sales team(s) greater than 10 people
- Business intelligence and reporting background
- Business plan creation and articulation skills
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent Microsoft excel and power point skills
Desirable
- Information technology past experience
- Netsuite or equivalent CRM background
- Tableau or Sales Force.com background
- Annual budgeting experience
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience
Qualifications:
Not essential but beneficial if you have a BCom/or BA in Information technology or business analytics you will be preferred
