    Technical Assistant Manager (Learning & Development)

    Job description

    Requirement Overview

    To assist in the development of quality relevant learning material and content according to defined methodology and needs as identified in the Training Needs on the PeopleSoft system. In addition the incumbent will be expected to liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to ensure accuracy and relevance of subject matter of training material.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Training

    • Assisting in the identification of technical learning needs in line with the AG’s strategy and operational requirements.
    • Develop and update technical learning programmes for the organisation
    • Complete relevant training administration during training
    • Ensure high quality learning delivery
    • Assist in implementing the technical aspects of the induction programme to ensure effective integration of all new employees
    • Be involved in comprehensive logistical planning for training programmes

    Research and development

    • Conduct research in the specialised field for which training material should be developed
    • Liaise with ARD with regards to the technical correctness of the training material
    • Pilate and provide input into the quality and relevance of the training material

    Stakeholder management

    Liaise with audit business units regarding all their relevant training arrangements

    Reporting

    • Share audit product knowledge with stakeholders and assist with the implementation of audit product solutions
    • Assist with the preparation of training reports for all technical training interventions

    Qualifications

    Skills, Experience & Education

    RGA, ACCA or CA(SA)

    Experience

    • Completed articles.
    • Knowledge of skills development and training practice, relevant legislation and methodologies in the public sector audit context
    • An ability to conduct research in various areas and develop training products and manuals in line with stakeholder requirements and the strategy of the organisation
    • An ability to liaise with and communicate relevant information to appropriate stakeholders in order to seek input and inform their decisions or activities.
