Software Engineer at Sage

Job description

The Sage Infrastructure team is looking for a senior-level software developer to help us build and maintain a suite of new and existing integrations to our Sage products.

We’re looking for a full-stack web developer that is as comfortable building modern websites as writing back-end code and restful API’s or optimising a tricky SQL query.

• The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of web development experience building real-world web or cloud solutions and have worked on an Agile team.
• Ideally, you will also have experience with IIS, continuous integration and ability to provide expert-level when required.
• Our technologies are mostly on the Microsoft stack and include C#, ASP.Net MVC, WebAPI, SQL Server, HTML, Javascript (nodejs, jquery), CSS.
• Performs maintenance, support & enhancements of existing systems. • Adheres to development processes.
• Adheres to SCRUM processes.
• Develops new products/features.
• Conducts systems and unit testing.
• Maintains technical documentation.
• Mentor and guide other members of the team on solutions as appropriate
• Communicates effectively and escalates issues timeously.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvement to product and take accountability for implementing them.
• Adapt to significant changes in either technology or environment
• Share responsibility for planning and delivering team activities
