    Business Change Project Manager

    Job description

    To form part of the SA PMO team to deliver BAU change into the organization through the application of project and change management

    Responsibilities

    • Define and Manage delivery of cross functional Business Change projects covering process improvement; regulatory change or procedure; IT led change projects/initiatives
    • Develop excellent relationships with the wider business in order to ensure full consultation for major projects and maximise resource efficiency
    • Work with internal and external clients and stakeholders in shaping, controlling and delivering change projects
    • Educate and promote best practise project and change management practises with your internal client
    • Document and communicate key feedback, decisions and action items from meetings, workshops and discussions with stakeholders in a timely & efficient manner
    • Pro-actively engage with internal business stakeholders to ensure alignment and distribution of key information and plans, as required
    • Understand the current WNS business environment and the availability of service offerings & tools to support / enhance team efficiency
    • Develop a robust project plan for your specific projects
    • Establish and maintain governance and reporting for your projects
    • Liaise with the wider business to drive projects to completion

    Minimum Qualification

    • Matric
    • Professional Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince 2)

    Experience

    • 10 years Project Management experience working in a formal established project office
    • 10 years experience with large complex projects covering both IT and business change projects with > 5years within a contact centre environment
    • 10 years’ experience working with Senior stakeholders ( exce level)
    • 5 years working in an International delivery context either with international employer or working with international virtual delivery teams/ working with different cultures
    • 5 years’ experience of project delivery in a vendor environment
    • Basic understanding of six sigma principles

    Skills (Essential)

    • Demonstrate end to end project lifecycle management within a variety of industries
    • Understands and can apply benefits realisation concepts
    • Ability to construct a project from idea and concept stage and produce all associated project artefacts with minimum supervision
    • Strong influencing skills to create alignment on project goals
    • Ability to articulate and communicate in a clear and concise manner (written and verbally)
    • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
    • Highly proficient in budget and resource planning /management
    • Comfortable with working with stakeholders throughout all levels of the organisation

    • Can demonstrate flexibility whilst not compromising integrity of project outputs
    • Highly structured in approach to work and stakeholder engagement
    • Able to deal with conflict, can identify and negotiate win win scenarios
    • Attention to detail & high degree of accuracy
    • Quality-driven and takes pride in their work
    • Pro-active and willing to take ownership and think logically, particularly in framing/structuring business change solutions
    • Team Player but also comfortable with using initiative
    • Tenacity and good problem solver –can do attitude is key
