    Sales Coordinator

    Job description

    The Decision Inc. sales coordinator position is a sales support position with the potential of growing into a Sales role. The role will entail all proposal and RFP formulation as well as telephonic calling of new prospective and existing customers. There will be a strong element of off-site meetings at named customers as well as technology partners. This is a combination of a very strong relationship building role together with proposal writing, bid management and coordination.

    What Will You Do?

    Bid management:

    • Coordinating the output of an entire RFP response for tenders and proposals
    • Constant communication and co-ordination with the prospect and the procurement manager of the prospect
    • Managing input from services manager, technical managers, managing director & project managers
    • Formulating RFP & proposal documents into high quality ready to go output. This includes proof reading, formatting, printing, binding, emailing etc
    • Monthly customer relationship calls with potential visits
    • Relationship building with named and specified existing customers.
    • Relationship building with Technology Partners
    • Cold Calling & setting up first meetings
    • Diligent and accurate updates to the various sales and CRM tools in Decision Inc.
    • Proposal creation and preparation
    • RFP response preparation and creation
    • Building a pipeline for sales
    • Weekly sales meeting feedback on pipeline and opportunity development
    • Quarterly sales activity performance meetings with MD
    • Fortnightly existing customer visits
    • Existing customer communication updates
    • Partner / customer management

    Who Do You Need To Be?

    • Energetic, friendly, likable and outgoing
    • Must be highly responsive
    • Driver with impeccable attention to making deadlines
    • Must have very strong listening skills
    • Attention to detail particularly on written response
    • Strong high quality writing skills

    Preferable Experience

    • Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Solution
    • Financial Consolidations
    • Statutory and Management Financial Reporting
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Complex - 6 – 12 month sales cycle
    • Experience in complex enterprise application sales cycles
