INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS, WATER AND WASTE SERVICES ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGEMENT (EAM)

TCOE: R694 272 PER ANNUM REF. NO: WS 76/17

Requirements:

• A relevant degree or National Diploma
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience and experience of project management
• Knowledge of strategy and policy development
• Knowledge developing and maintaining database related projects within PCS
• High degree of computer literacy
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• A working knowledge of MS Sequel
• A working knowledge of MS Server 2008 and later.

Key performance areas:

• Developing policies around connecting SCADA database systems to the corporate network
• Designing data structures compatible to both automation systems and corporate network
• Developing MS Sequel databases
• Building MS Server 2 008 versions and later servers
• Developing the policies for web interfaces between automation systems
• Designing templates for all SCADA WEB interfaces for water and sanitation using web design tools
• Developing high efficiency radio networks for telemetry data collection and ensuring they meet regulation of ICASA
• Ensuring projects are carried out timeously and meet the specifi cation through regular spot checks, drawing of reports and progress meetings with contractors and plant manager.
