Consulting for more than a decade, they have established offices and teams in Sub-Saharan Africa, West and East Africa, and Mauritius. As a leading project management team, they offer their clients full construction and property solutions for their diverse needs. From tenants co-ordination and representation on site, new build projects, high specification fit-out, to refurbishment, restorations, due diligence and feasibility studies: they have it covered. Their portfolio includes projects in commercial, retail, mixed-use, hotel, healthcare and residential schemes. To be based in their Johannesburg-North office, they require a strong and experienced Human Resource Manager. The main purpose of your job will be to provide leadership, direction, management and guidance at a strategic level in all staff related initiatives. This means implementing and maintaining a smooth proactive processes through the organization, provide IR support and advice, developing and overseeing drafting of ISO compliant HR policies and procedures, as well as maintaining professional memberships and qualifications staying current and ahead of trend in the industry. Performance Management will also fall under your responsibilities, by providing guidance support and training throughout the performance management process for management as well as all staff members. You will also implement and uphold an annual moderation panel to review staff and performance rating annually. As the work loads expands, you will be required to implement and maintain effective recruiting processes and documents including employment contracts, guiding and coaching line management to empower them to make effective recruitment choices. To ensure the best possible candidates are put forward for new vacancies you must advertise internally and on social media, also delegate to Recruitment Agencies that will be able to source the correct candidates before putting them through an effective screening process. To be successful in this role, your 8+years experience combined with a HR-degree is essential. This paired with your Hands-on, Internal HR experience dealing with IR, ISO and Recruitment-processes along with your understanding of small to medium business environments, will secure the deal.
