Franchise Territory Manager - Ocean Basket HQ (Midrand) at Ocean Basket

Job description

The successful candidate will ensure that their territory meet with the required Ocean Basket group standards while maintaining good relationships with Franchisees / Licensees. The candidate will also be responsible for driving the growth of existing stores and the establishment of new stores in their territory.

Duties:

• Assist in planning & implementing in-store marketing initiatives
• Accountable for ensuring seamless store openings
• Presenting territory budgets including foot count & turnover
• Review of monthly store financials and compiling region averages & summaries
• Assist in developing the brand’s foot print
• Promote & mediate product supply
• Coordinate franchisee meetings to keep franchisees aligned to brand
• Mentor and develop operations team allocated

Key Performance Indicators

• Achievement of growth budgets for the allocated territory
• Meet minimum support levels set out for stores
• Quarterly monthly financial feedback to group on averages
• Store openings completed on time and within budget
• Franchisee Committee Communications set and met
• Accountable for all support crew KPI’s reporting into them

Desired Skills: 

• Understanding of store financials – COS, Income statement
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Must be computer literate in word, excel and PowerPoint

Work Experience

• 3 - 5 Years restaurant management experience
• More than 10 years Franchise Operations experience
• International exposure to store openings and support
• Experience in leading a team of people
• Successful implementation of projects
• Relationship building with franchisees
• Strong administration skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Good presentation skills

Educational Requirements:

Minimum

• Business Degree (Non Negotiable).
• Financial qualification/Financial subjects included in Degree.
