Manages the assessment process and implements selection assessment strategies.
Implements the assessment strategy, framework and methodology for consistent application, both internally, externally and across all regions.
Aligns the assessment practice to defined competency frameworks and themes of work, including leadership and management competencies at all levels.
Researches and benchmarks best practices in assessment methods and tools.
Sources and develops cost-effective, on-line and valid assessment instruments, through various suppliers.
Manages a budget and a team of Assessment Specialists.
Provides thought leadership, researches and benchmarks best practices in Assessment Management.
Monitors and measures the implementation and impact of assessment outcomes and practices across the Group.
Empowers and builds HR capability to achieve Talent Assessment outcomes.
Manages and mitigates risks in area of accountability and ensures clean Audit, Risk and Compliance reports.
Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contract Psychologists and Assessment service providers.
Understands the full HR value chain and has experience integrating assessments into Learning, Performance and overall talent development.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Master’s Degree in Psychology/Industrial Psychology (preferable)
Honour’s Degree in in Psychology/Industrial Psychology (required)
Registration as Psychometrist and/or Psychologist with the HPCSA (required)
At least five years’ working experience in an assessment center and recruitment environment (preferably at a similar level) of which two years should be in administering competency and psychometric assessments.
Experience in advising Line Managers and building HR capability around assessment governance and practice.
