IT Business Analyst (Intermediate and Senior) at Spinnaker Software

Job Overview:

The Business Analyst will be accountable for solutions development through applying agile methodologies, processing and maintaining solutions documentation, remote client interface and relationship building. Further key deliverables comprise of compiling and submission of quotations, obtaining formalised sign-off and contributing to, and working on pilot projects.

Important duties and responsibilities:

• Facilitate GAP/JAD workshops internally and externally
• Document business problem, requirements and minutes of meetings held
• Log new development request on TFS
• Compile solution together with Solution Architect and document accordingly
• Compile Quotation and present to the client
• Implement Pilot sites to test new functionality
• Training on new functionality as developed and tested
• Assist Data Consultants with planning new implementations and data conversions required
• Compile and present sign-off documentation to the client
• Providing regular feedback to the customer including estimated delivery time of new requests
• Assist developers and other technical staff to solicit information where required
• Provide feedback to Product Owner on current projects and their status and importance
• Present and get sign-off on new projects completed
• Ensure that completed projects are invoiced correctly

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent N3
• IT related Degree or Diploma
• Advanced SQL skills
• Agile Methodology experience
• Retail / POS knowledge
• 3-4 + years' in a development environment
