Requirements:  

• Grade  10  (Able  to  read  and  write)   
• Must  have  background  and/or  knowledge  of  substance  use  and recovery   
• Must  have  undergone  and  completed  the  Peer Recovery Support Curriculum Training   
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape 
• One year’s experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation. 

Duties:

• Participate in training workshops Refer participants to relevant support services 
• Facilitate group discussions and  peer  support  sessions   
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to participants   
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to coordinators.

• Computer literate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape
• One years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.

Duties:

• Supervision
• Responsible for all exhibits, paintings and content of the Africana Centre
• Acquire new museum items
• Schedule information sessions
• Marketing of the museum
• Report any defects
• Liaise with the Provincial Museum service
• Compile inventory and reports
• Acquire information regarding current museum items.

• Willing to complete practical and theoretical firefighting training
• Be stationed at any Fire Station within the Hessequa Municipal Area
• Work overtime and on short notice
• No criminal record
• Two years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.

Duties:

• Perform fire-fighting operations
• Respond to fires
• Check and maintain equipment
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained
• Assist with clearing fire breaks
• Perform control room duties.
