    Client Manager- Public Sector

    Job description

    We are currently looking for a Public Sector – Client Manager to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

    As a Public Manager - Client Manager, you will be responsible for creating client value through understanding the business requirements and outputs of your client portfolio of accounts through having differentiated conversations and understanding their pains through the solution selling sales process to meet your defined financial performance and create value for both the client and the company.

    The primary objective is to achieve your sales targets through the effective product penetration and wallet share strategies detailed in your agreed (with your clients) account plan as a result of your consultative approach (demonstrating value to the client) to solve your clients business needs and meet their business outputs by ensuring outstanding client experience through demonstrating the right behavioural traits.

    What we expect you to do

    • Approach the management of his/her account portfolio in a systematic way by identifying the strategy they will use to maintain, develop and grow the accounts profitably through an agreed (client) account plan.
    • Coordinate activities within each account in alignment with the overall Enterprise Segment and account strategy.
    • Be the Client experience custodian throughout Internet Solutions.
    • Be aware of and accountable for the coordination of all client engagements and interactions by the associated virtual account team.
    • Understand Internet Solutions and the Dimension Data Group value proposition sufficiently to ensure you are able to become your clients’ trusted advisor.
    • Develop a client centric communication plan, providing regular client feedback and ensuring the client(s) continuous buy in under business as usual, project and escalation modes of operation.
    • Use educational opportunities optimally in order to sell organisational offerings in an effective manner with the aim to achieve identified targets.
    • Utilise identified and approved sales tools & methodologies to manage account opportunities, pipelines and associated forecasting efforts.
    • Take ownership of a range of accounts representing different market segments, advocate client requirements whilst increasing revenue & margins.
    • Investigate and understand client challenges and articulate deliberate courses of action to a variety of stakeholders across different functional areas to solve and assist with.
    • Work with your clients & internal functional areas (virtual team) to map out & optimally deploy products and services that will impact positively on client environment efficiencies and the client’s strategy.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of client journey, industry, environment, geographical complexity & strategy to identify mutually beneficial solutions.
    • Contribute to a service excellence culture, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service.
    • Execute practices which build service delivery excellence to organisational principles and encourage others to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Effectively coordinate all related account activities and act as a single point of contact and information flow to the client.
    • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle of the buying process, by taking ownership for the commercial agreement of each client.
    • Leverage relationship skills & knowledge of the client environment to position the org. favourably in comparison with competitors & market forces.
    • To understand the competitive environment and undertake an analysis of the competition to identify any vulnerability and strategically position Internet Solutions
    • Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement.
    • Recommend and positively influence, direct and implement changes to optimise organisational processes, systems, policies and procedures.

    Key/ Minimum requirements:

    • Professionally qualified (business degree is a distinct advantage)
    • 2-5 years industry experience in Telecommunications
    • Strong business and financial acumen
    • Experience in working at C-Suite level
    • Understanding of industry specific knowledge
    • Advanced Written and Verbal Communication skills
    • Negotiation skills
    • Ability to conduct needs analysis
    • Ability to interpret and understand financial reports
    • Ability to engage strategically at the C Level
