    Account Manager

    An Account Manager (AM) oversees making sure each division meets the needs of their clients and customers. They handle customer complaints, find solutions to their issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures. AM will liaise with cross-functional Equisoft internal teams (including, project delivery, production support and Product Development) to ensure entire customer experience is optimised.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Relationship Management: Managing the internal communications between clients and the teams in the organisation. Manage all stakeholder relationships within client’s business, especially IT and operations units, to ensure that expectations and priorities are clear and that all required support is in place to achieve the objectives of the engagement.
    • Developing a trusting relationship between key clients and the organisation, through understanding and anticipating the client’s needs and assist with general client requests or issue escalations as needed
    • Account Growth: Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing initiative timelines with related client budget, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize revenue.
    • Responsible for the growth of the account by prospecting, evaluating and proposing additional Equisoft products and services in support of the client’s business and technology objectives.
    • Account Profitability: Responsible for the P&L targets and the profitability goals set by Equisoft for each assigned account. Liaise with the sales team to ensure maximum upselling and cross-selling is achieved.
    • Delivery Assurance: Acting as the voice of the customer when liaising with internal Equisoft teams to ensure initiatives meet requirements, oversee the planning, management and implementation of client projects related to Equisoft’s products & services to ensure fulfilment of all client commitments.
    • Account Planning: In alignment with client’s and Equisoft’s objectives, create an annual account plan detailing out opportunities to be pursued, relationships to be nurtured and account risks. The Account Manager will manage and report regularly against the account plan.
       

    MUST-HAVES

    • Post-graduate degree or diploma
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with strong account management, relationship management and/or business development experience
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Insurance and/or Wealth Distribution market (advisers, brokers, tied agents, etc.)
    • Must have experience interacting and building executive level client relationships
    • Must have experience with proposal creation and contract management
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiating skills
    • Consulting experience in IT and/or in the insurance industry with international experience
    • Project management experience relating to transformational deliveries
