Accountant Management Accounting– JW393EX/2024 at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform quality control on financial information. Review accuracy of actual revenue and expenditure accounts. Monitor actual expenditure against cost centre budgets. Assist with production of Financial and Management reports.
• Ensure that management receives cost centre reports monthly. Assist with compilation of annual business plan budget and forecasts. Perform any budgetary analyses.
• Provide departments with assistance to compile cost centre budgets. Maintain the chart of accounts books and distribute to all department. Perform planning and execution of ad hoc project work. Conduct training on chart of accounts to users.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (NQF 4) and National Diploma in Accounting (NQF 6)
• 2 years’ experience in the financial / Management Accounting
• SAP FI and AP and Microsoft packages
• OR
• Grade 12 (NQF 4) and 2nd year current studies towards National Diploma (NQF 6) in accounting
• 5 years’ experience in the financial field.
• SAP FI and AP and Microsoft packages.
