Actuarial Specialist (Pricing & Strategic Projects) at Hollard Insurance

• Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Hollard International, Actuarial Services  area. We are looking to recruit a Actuarial Specialist – Pricing & Strategic Projects.
• To lead and support strategic actuarial projects across Hollard International, with a focus on reinsurance optimization, motor pricing, and product development. This role will work closely with local country teams and the analytics function to ensure data-driven, value-enhancing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with local teams to conduct pricing exercises, especially motor product pricing.
• Lead or support reinsurance optimization projects in coordination with the analytics team.
• Assist in product development efforts aligned with market needs and regulatory standards.
• Work with the Analytics Team to contribute actuarial insights into the Business Intelligence platform.
• Engage with country teams to ensure consistent pricing methodology and best practices.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to support business strategy and profitability.

Required Knowledge and Experience    

• 5+ years of actuarial experience, with focus on pricing or strategic project work.
• Strong technical skills in Excel; experience with pricing tools is a plus.
• Experience in motor pricing and/or reinsurance optimization is advantageous.
• Ability to manage projects and work with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Requirements    

• BSc (Actuarial Mathematics) / BSc (Actuarial Science) or similar degree.
• Strong progress in Actuarial exams, aiming for Fellowship.
