Prerequisites

• A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Social Sciences/Public Administration/Research/Criminology/Policing or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority SAQA).
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the same or related field.
• Valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

• Knowledge and policies that informs Domestic Violence Act, Criminal Procedure Act, Sexual Offence Act, Justice Act, Knowledge on the Criminal Justice System,
• Knowledge of polices related to Community Safety within the Municipality, Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act(PMFA),Investigative skills, Quality of work skills,
• Communication and facilitation skills, Good analytical and innovative skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation and Report writing skills, Conflict Management skills, Policy analysing skills, Computer skills.
