Administrative Officer (Ref No: IS-SWF-AO1) at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Co-ordinates and controls the administrative, customer support and finance functionality of the Solid Waste Management Sections and attends to the implementation of procedures, applications, systems and controls to facilitate and support the recording, updating, circulation and maintenance of information.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• National Diploma in Office Management or equivalent (NQF LEVEL 6)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Applications)
• Report writing skills
• Numerical skills
• Supervisory skills
• Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape
• Good human relations, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to give attention to detail
• High level of responsibility

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-years of administrative support and control systems experience
