Administrator: Debtors - VW Germiston at Motus Holdings Limited

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process for the automotive dealership, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to customers.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding debtors, communicating with customers to collect payments and resolve any issues.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare reports on the status of outstanding debts.
• Update customer records and ensure accuracy of billing information.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the sales team on credit approvals and customer payment terms.
• Assist with customer queries and resolve any disputes related to billing or payments.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in debt management and collection processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a debtors administrator or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
