    Administrator: Finance

    • SAQA seeks to appoint an Administrator: Finance to provide administrative support within the Finance sub-unit. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this position will render support related to finance operations, which include but not limited to asset management, administration, and other financial processes.

    Requirements are:
    Minimum Qualifications

    • An appropriate, recognised qualification at NQF Level 5.
    • A relevant qualification at NQF level 6 will be an advantage.

    Minimum Experience

    • One-year of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in SAGE 300 Accpac will be an advantage.

    Key performance areas:

    Summary of duties

    • Handling and accounting for physical transfer/movement of assets between units or offices.
    • Conducting monthly asset verifications and reconciliations.
    • Conducting assessments and reporting unverified, damaged or missing assets.
    • Barcoding new assets and updating the asset register.
    • Assisting with asset management processes as required.
    • Recording new locations and employee data on Norming/Accpac.
    • Assisting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cashbook functions when required.
    • Assisting with internal and external audit queries or requests for information.
    • Assisting with following up on invoices received.
    • Assisting with compiling and checking accuracy of demand letters.
    • Serving as the point of contact for all administrative matters relating to Finance and liaising with all other unit administrators.
    • Recording minutes and preparing agendas for unit meetings.
