Job Advert Summary    

• To co-ordinate all Liquor & Tobacco advertising, promotions and communications

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric / Tertiary Certificate
• Advanced excel skills advantageous
• 2 – 3 years retail marketing experience
• Understanding of the advertising process
• Understanding of the RMS System, Promo Tool and SAP

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Interact and work collaboratively with the Planning and Buying teams to ensure sales and inventory turns are maximised.
• Work collaboratively with Advertising Agency and Marketing Department to ensure key items are promoted correctly.
• Regular communication with relevant stakeholders and role players to ensure value added results are achieved.
• Manage the Advertising Calendar and meet all deadlines.
• Deadlines to be clearly communicated and distributed to the buying team timeously.
• Consolidate the brief for the buying team for execution.
• Ensure timeous communication to stores on promotions, advertising and events.
• Provide administrative support for promotions and advertising.
• Communicates any deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Performs various administrative duties timeously.
