Air Monitoring Officer: GHG Montg & Air Dispersion Modeller - HESD19035 at City of Ekurhuleni

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc Degree/National Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Management.
• NQF Level 7: Higher Education and Training, First Degree / Advanced Diplomas.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment of air quality monitoring and management of ambient air quality stations
• Registration with the relevant Professional body

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure the monitoring, reporting and review of air quality emissions as outlined in NEMAQA and related legislation and regulations in EMM.
• Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of Governance and Risk Management practices
• Ensure compliance with all applicable MFMA and other applicable legislation and regulation in EMM.
• Provide effective and efficient customer service
• Ensures effective contract management in area of responsibility
