This role includes developing, maintaining, supporting and optimising key functional areas particularly Microsoft Products, server infrastructure and security

Qualifications

• MCSE / MCITP or Recognised Degree/Diploma
• O365 / MS AD and Exchange Certifications
• Citrix 7 / XenApp / XenServer Certifications

Experience

• 8+ Years Relevant IT Experience
• Experience in dealing with teams within geographical and technical complex environment
• Microsoft Server 2008,2012,2016,2019
• Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, DAG
• Mimecast Email gateway Management
• O365 /Azure Administration
• RDS Terminal Services (2016, 2019)
• Active Directory builds – designs, upgrades from 2012 to 2019.
• DNS, DHCP, Routing
• Windows File Server Management (DFS)
• ITIL v3/4
• AND / OR
• Citrix 7 / XenApp / XenServer etc.
   

Key Deliverables

• Implement permanent solutions or workarounds that will result in a reduction of incidents.
• Identify Problems and Recurring themes and escalate through the appropriate forums.
• Implement changes according to the agreed change management processes.
• R&D and propose and implement Continuous Service Improvement Initiatives.
• Mentor and Train Junior staff members to ensure knowledge transfer.
• Design / Document New and Existing Solutions
• Complete Daily / weekly / monthly health checks and reporting.
• Test and monitor system performance and provide reports and statistics
• Implement project requirements according to the defined scope.
• Implement security controls according to best practice.
• Identify and escalate risks.
• Act in accordance with company policies and procedures
