Artisan Diesel Mechanic at Unitrans

Job Advert Summary    

• Our Megabus Depots - Kuruman/Kloof and Johnnesburg - seeks to employ a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• The incumbent will be responsible for the servicing/repair and maintenance of all mechanical aspects of the fleet of vehicle operating out of the Depot.

Minimum Requirements    

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic,
• Strong supervisory skills,
• A minimum of 5 years experience of working on Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Scania or MAN vehicles,
• Must be computer literate,
• Ability to work independently and accurately,
• Problem solving ability,
• Own transport

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Repair of the vehicles,
• Servicing of vehicles,
• Maintenance/upgrade of vehicles/components,
• Identifies/diagnoses faults/defects
