Artisan Electrician - VOPS Caledon at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Comply with safe, healthy & environmental procedures and legislations
• Maintain safety & housekeeping standards
• Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems
• Plan and prepare the job
• Carry out repairs / maintenance
• Operate workshop equipment
• Communicate effectively in teams
• Contribute to self and team development
• Satisfied customers – no rework
• Coordinates planned work with municipality electrical departments
• Identification of unsafe practices
• Safety inspections conducted
• Safe maintenance practices audited

Minimum Requirements:

• N6 Electrical Engineering Studies
• Trade test qualification in Electrical Engineering
• 2-3 Years technical mechanical/electrical and entire Maltings experience in a leadership capacity in a FMCG environment
• Certificated in high voltage installations and maintenance
• Wireman's license (SANS10142)
• Min: 3 - 5 years in a FMCG/MALTINGS environment
• Maltings, Brewing, Utilities & Packaging maintenance workshop experience
