Artisan Plumber at Nelson Mandela Bay Metro

Qualifications and experience required:

• Trade tested Artisan-Plumbers Certificate.
• Valid Coe C1 Driver's license with PrPD.
• One to two years' relevant experience.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Physically fit and able bodied.
• Required to work in all weather conditions and outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.
• Required to be on standby.
• As part of the selection process, the recommended candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at the Municipality's Occupational Health and Safety Division.

Job purpose:

• Coordinate and controls the set-up,
• Work in progress and completion of specialized tasks activities associated with the installation,
•  Maintenance and repair to water reticulation mains,
• Municipal plumbing and meters, Including, monitoring and correcting general administrative recording requirements in order to ensure downtime and disruptions is minimized contributing positively towards sustaining acceptable service delivery standards.
