Asset Controller at Hello Group

Overview

• We are looking for an Asset Controller to oversee the lifecycle of IT assets across the organisation. This role ensures IT equipment is properly tracked, maintained, compliant, and cost-effective.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal)
• Maintain accurate IT asset registers, including hardware, licenses, warranties, and locations
• Coordinate ordering, deployment, and asset tracking across all sites
• Manage vendors, contracts, and quotations related to IT assets
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
• Oversee asset movements, refresh cycles, and equipment replacement
• Produce regular asset and inventory reports
• Support IT operations, including loan equipment, printers, and laptop schemes

Minimum Requirements    
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in IT asset management or IT operations
• Experience with IT asset management tools and tracking systems
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and infrastructure
• Good organisational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred

• ITIL or Asset Management certification
• Experience with Confluence or similar tools
• Vendor and procurement experience
