Assistant Depot Manager (2991) at COFCO International

The Assistant depot Manager’s main function is the co-ordinating and maintenance of the silo bag depot. 

The role may be required to perform functions in addition to those associated with his/her own position. 

Preferred Candidates

• Those who live nearby and/or in the community
• Grading certified (Maize / Soybeans)

Role & Responsibility

• Management of appointed Depot
• Staff management of Grain Handler
• Overall responsibility for Quantity and Quality of stock
• Responsible for stock management
• Site and equipment maintenance
• Responsible for maintaining PPECB records
• Daily site inspections
• Ensure that bags are measured & marked
• Ensure that rodent and weed control are in place
• Daily reporting to Head Office on all site operations
• Weekly depot report
• Monthly closure of contracts and stocktake
• Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management
• Administration, ad hoc
• General work
• Must be willing to relocate and travel.
