    Assistant Officer: Call Centre (Post level 13) - (997)

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Perform call centre duties.
    • Perform relief reception duties when so required.
    • Provide financial information in person, telephonically and by email.
    • Record, capture and respond to enquiries from students, staff, parents, guardians and sponsors.
    • Document and maintain enquires regarding financial transactions. Submit supporting documents for scanning.
    • Capture data on Peoplesoft, bursary letters, payment arrangements, provisional registration applications.
    • Monitor, review and verify financial agreements uploaded by potential minor first-time entering students.
    • Create general requisitions and follow through to purchase orders.
    • Adhere to POPIA by securing and protecting personal, confidential and sensitive information.
    • Perform general filing.
    • Generate study fee quotations and handle quotation enquires.
    • Generate and email tuition fee statements.

    Inherent requirements:

    • Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.

    Recommendations:

    • Two (2) years relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
    • Knowledge of general accounting.
    • Knowledge of calculations and mathematics to solve mathematical equations.
    • Knowledge of applications and programs in order to conduct work (MS Office and PeopleSoft).
    • Knowledge of business – understanding the functional areas and how it impacts.
    • Thoroughly understanding operations such as managing files and records.
    • Knowledge of problem solving to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions.
    • Knowledge of communication to clearly convey/receive messages (verbal/written).
    • Ability to identify, measure, analyse, interpret and communication information.
