    Assistant Operations Manager

    This exciting opportunity exists in our Online Shopping Division in Cape Town. We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager who will support in a wide range of general management tasks as well as look after the entire operational structure of the Online business, including Logistics, Store Operations, Product Management and Customer Service.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • MSc degree in Business studies, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations related studies
    • 2-3 years' experience in Operations/Supply Chain or similar fields
    • Experience within the retail environment advantageous
    • Experience within Pick n Pay advantageous
    • Experience within the on-demand industry advantageous
    • MS Excel and Powerpoint Intermediate experience
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Administratively strong and key in ensuring Operational tasks and procedures are performed as required
    • Providing support to the Operations Manager across all required administrative and coordinative functions and duties in line with SOPs, policies, & procedures
    • Assist with daily task management of Customer Service and Dispatching
    • Daily meetings / Stand-up check-ins with teams (Customer Service Coordinator and Online Logistics Coordinator)
    • Task management of and follow up with operational teams
    • Daily and weekly reporting of Logistics and Bottles performance to Operations Manager and/or GM of Online
    • Manage & sign off on Overtime
    • Manage shift compliance and adherence for optimal productivity
    • Customer Service
