Fitting Unskilled Operator- ROLLING STOCK DEPARTMENT
Purpose Of The Job

• To assemble the Cars in line with APSYS.

Position in the Organization
Organizational Reporting

• Reports to the relevant Production Team Leader.

Key Network & Links

• Up and downstream process production supervisors

Measurement

• Performance will be measured against the quantitative and qualitative business plan targets for the relevant section.

Mission
Job Objective

• To assembles and sub-components of Components to Fitting assembly line on passenger coaches using Standard work procedure in Production Line following SQCD Targets.
• Perform other related responsibilities and carry out 5S responsibilities.
• To ensure that all tooling and equipment is well maintained
• Ensure that all WIs and Safety regulations are well adhered to and immediately report deviations to superior.
• Participate and contribute in all other Production related activities i.e Kaizen and Gemba events.

Candidate Requirements
Education and Job Experience Requirement:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science or Technical Maths & Science
• Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 6 Months accredited institutionalized training certificate.

Advantageous

• Manufacturing Industry relevant experience (Assembly, hand tools, Assembly process, Power Tools etc)
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing

Desired Knowledge / Experience & Behavior

• Assembling of components with good quality
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Physically Fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
• Should be technically minded and practical
• Computer skills (Basic)
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Good English Communication Skills (both Written and Verbal)
