Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources, such as ERP systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other tools, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain operations.
Develop and maintain advanced analytics models, algorithms, and tools to support data-driven decision-making processes in supply chain management, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, transportation optimization, and supplier performance analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify data gaps, and recommend data collection methods to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis.
Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including supply chain leaders, operations managers, and other relevant parties.
Conduct root cause analysis and identify areas of inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks in the supply chain operations, and provide recommendations for process improvement and optimization.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations and provide regular reports and updates to management on performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
Business Process Analysis and SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) knowledge preferred.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management and data analytics and apply them to enhance supply chain processes and
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Computer science or computer engineering degree.
Basic understanding of supply chain management, operations research, statistics, data science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data modelling, and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, qlik sense or other similar tools to create reports and dashboards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques for predictive analytics in supply chain management will be a plus.
