Asst Officer Etd at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Be in possession of a valid Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Computer Science qualification, Design and Development
• IT Skills in Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning programming and Learner Management packages
• Have excellent consulting / Facilitation and English communication skills
• Have at least 2 years’ experience in a related role, preferably involvement in the mining industry
• Demonstrate understanding of training and development legal requirements (QCTO, SAQA, SETAs, MQA Unit Standards. Etc)
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of basic Legal, Health and Safety and Environmental principles used in the workplace
• Appreciation of Trackless Mobile Machinery and Mining Methods
• Have clear security screening record

The Appointee should:

• Underground Fitness for Duty Certificate (Red Ticket)

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Bachelors / Diploma in Computer Science, Unity, Java, UE4/UE5
• Be in possession of an Assessors Certificate
• FET CERT OD ETD NQF Level 4
• Be in possession of a Moderator Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

• SHE Management: Adhere to SHE principles within the Technical Training (Mining) in line with Unit objectives to monitor compliance to Operational Health and Safety requirements. Participate in risk assessments and take appropriate action to eliminate/mitigate risk exposures
• Quality Management System (QMS): Adhere to documentation and systems within the Quality Management System (QMS) to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Corporate Governance and Business Ethics: Ensure adherence and compliance with legal requirements to support organisation's code of conduct, corporate governance, and ethics guidelines
