Asst Officer ETD at Sibanye-Stillwater

Job Purpose:

• To execute daily routine work with regards to the practical skills training to address skills gaps and prove competency in line with business needs and requirements.

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Competent A & B
• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
• 2 years or more experience in TMM licenses

The Appointee should:

• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
• 2 years or more experience in TMM licenses
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) and National Cert level 4 Certificate FET Education, Training and Development

Additional Requirements:

• ISO 9001 Certificate would be advantageous.
• Assessor Certificate would be advantageous.
• Moderator Certificate would be advantageous.
• Certificate in ETD Level 3 would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Training Management  Assisting in providing and facilitating training, materials, practices, methodology and procedures to the improve competency levels within the organisation  Implementing QCTO, MQA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance.  Assisting in compiling learner progress Reports (daily, weekly & monthly).  Assisting with cost saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.

• Building a values-based organisational culture  Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
• ESG Compliance  SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).  SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.
• SHE Compliance & Quality Management Systems  Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.  Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.  Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.  Approve department’s documents.  Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.
