Au Pair | Bryanston | R10 500 - R11 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Children’s Ages: Girl – 10 years (Grade 5) and Boy – 13 years (Grade 7)
• Working hours: Monday 13:00 - 18:00, Tuesday 13:00 - 17:30, Wednesday 13:30 - 17:00, Thursday 13:00 - 18:30, Friday 12:00 - 17:30
• School holiday hours: Same/similar hours to above
• Duties: Supervise and support children during their online school day, ensure children stay focused, on track and complete their schoolwork, assist with notes, homework, assignments, tests and deadlines, monitor academic progress and communicate any concerns to the parents, prepare and serve healthy snacks, drive children to and from extramural activities, liaise with coaches and instructors when needed, ensure children's safety, wellbeing and appropriate behaviour, purchase groceries and run household errands as required, keep children's areas tidy after use, manage petty cash and keep track of grocery/errand expenses, provide the parents with a brief daily handover regarding academic progress, concerns and expenses
• Special Requirements: Comfortable driving the family vehicle, experience with the age group, comfortable supporting children with online/remote schooling, strong attention to detail, confident, proactive communicator who can liaise with coaches and instructors, Basic First Aid knowledge is advantageous, punctual, trustworthy and able to work independently, responsible and transparent when handling household funds.

• Salary: R10 500 - R11 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + car provided for childcare duties (automatic Mercedes SUV)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
