Au Pair | Higgovale | R18 000 - R20 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Higgovale, Cape Town
• Children’s Ages: 5 year old in August (boy) and 3 year old (girl)
• Working hours: Every 2nd Friday – Friday Weekday Hours: 07:00 – 08:00 & 11:30 – 19:00/20:00 and Weekend Hours: Saturday – Sunday 08:00 – 20:00 (Every alternate week will be off)
• School holiday hours: Same as above  
• Duties: The Au Pair’s responsibilities include school pick-ups and provide care for both children including putting the younger child down for naps, preparing and feeding meals and snacks, and engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities. The role also involves supervising swimming, bathing, and dressing the children, as well as taking them on excursions to parks, play centres, and other outings. Additionally, the Au Pair is expected to perform general instructions and tasks as given by the employer to support the household and the children’s daily routine.
• Special Requirements: Someone mature, young, energetic and experienced. Any tertiary education would be highly advantageous.
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – 1 year contact (with the possibility of extension and renewal)
• Salary: R18 000 - R20 000pm - depending on experience and qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
