Au Pair | Northcliff | R10 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Northcliff
• Children’s Ages: Boys – 2, 4 and 7 years
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 13:00 – 17:00 (flexibility will be required)
• School holiday hours: Same/similar hours (with flexibility and TBC before each holiday period)
• Duties: Collect children from school and transport to extramurals, implement a structured daily schedule balancing learning time, play, and rest, design and facilitate age-appropriate structured play and creative activities, entertain and keep 2 year old engaged and occupied during afternoon hours, homework support and academic engagement for the older boys, lunch preparation (familiarity with gluten-free and health-conscious cooking is a strong advantage), ad-hoc shopping as needed, shopping for the boys (school clothing, uniforms, and hiring of costumes for school events), added to school WhatsApp groups as a viewer (for event updates, communications, and logistics), international and local travel with the family during school holidays
• Special Requirements: English (First Language), French, Portuguese or any other international language is an advantage, academically strong, studying towards a teaching qualification/qualified in education (Foundation and Intermediate Phase), Valid Passport, Female, comfortable driving a manual (family has a car available), discreet and respectful of privacy, physically active, someone who can think for themselves and take initiative
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R10 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km 

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
