Au Pair | Sea Point | R12 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Sea Point
• Children’s Ages: Boy – 5 years, Girl – 7 years
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:00 – 18:00
• School holiday hours: Hours will vary (some days 08:00 – 17:00, other days you will have off. This depends on when they are working away in JHB. It will be balanced out fairly) 
• Duties: Collect the children from school and transport them to their various after-school activities, playdates, and appointments. Assist with homework and keep them engaged afterwards. Prepare their school lunches for the following day and cook dinner for the family of four. The family enjoys a variety of foods, including pork, so the candidate must be comfortable preparing all food types. Assist with occasional personal errands, such as grocery shopping, and be able to swim and confidently supervise the children during water-based activities.
• Special Requirements: RSA citizen, under 35, and must not have previously participated in the YES Programme. Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable car. A background in/studies related to culinary arts, cooking, or food preparation (huge advantage). Must be able to swim and feel confident participating in water-based activities. Energetic, positive, emotionally resilient, and have a warm, nurturing, and engaging approach with children.
• Start Date and contract term: September 2026 – August 2027
• Salary: R12 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + R2 000 petrol/car allowance

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
