Au Pair | Southdowns, Centurion | R13 000 - R15 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Southdowns, Centurion
• Children’s Ages: 10, 13 and 16 years old (13 year old is autistic and has a dedicated helper, main focus will be on 10 & 16 year old)  
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 12:00 – 18:00 (slightly flexible with prior notice)
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Collect from school, oversee and assist with homework (Grade 10 is quite self-sufficient but the au pair will need to be on top of homework, assignments, etc. Providing a structured day and routine), assist with projects and assignments, prepare light snacks and meals, light household tasks and errands, ad hoc evening assistance required with prior notice and paid additionally.
• Special Requirements: Both children are academically strong, and the au pair needs to be someone who can guide and assist with maintaining the high standard of care and a hands-on approach in the day to day dealing with the kids. Someone kind, sensitive and understanding to children with special needs. Their mom is coming out of hospital and will have an unsure road to recovery, someone sensitive to the kids during this unsure time.
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R13 000 - R15 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
