Audio Visual and Sound Manager - Campus at St Stithians College

The requirements of the position:

• A national diploma/degree in Audio Technology/Sound Engineering
• Experience in Event Management/Event Production/Facilities management
• Working knowledge of stage lighting and MA Dot 2 Software
• Technical understanding of AV & ICT Systems (e.g. Crestron, QSYS, Kramer, BSS)
• Experience with Live streaming technology, software (Rode, Blackmagic, Newtek) & digital mixing consoles
• Understanding of ITSM environment and experience working with ticketing systems
• Customer service orientation, calendar management & staff shift management
• Knowledge of budget & Team management
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to work weekends and evenings on a regular basis
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic desktop Support, including Zoom & Teams
• Knowledge of video conferencing equipment such (e.g. Logitech and Poly)
• Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate       
• A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as participation in the broader life of the school
• Driver’s License

The duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and manage the provision of audio-visual equipment and resources for day-to-day events such as meeting, concerts, assembly,
• productions and any other college activities.
• Liaise with events coordinators regarding AV requirements for campus
• Identify, design, setup and manage college audio visual solutions for various venues and spaces
• Manage AV team of technicians, manage schedules, leave days, tasks, training and development
• Complete time sheets and overtime sheets for technicians
• Review performance of all AV technicians
• Quote external clients on AV services
• Procurement of all new AV equipment
• Formulate and administer the management of AV inventory list, order and control consumables stock.
• Manage allocated budget and financial resources
• Project management of AV facilities upgrades
• Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment and AV solutions
• Run front of house sound for major productions and concerts
• Technical setup and management of high-level college meetings and senior executive sessions
• Collaborate with ICT on smooth running of service management software
