BIM Assistant at SAOTA

Please note that the successful candidate must reside in Cape Town.

The BIM Assistant is responsible for assisting with Helpdesk support and the implementation of the BIM workflows.

Other key tasks include:

• Assist with Revit helpdesk tickets & ongoing office support requirements
• Assist with managing office standards, Revit systems & the upskilling of staff regularly through relevant Training
• In-depth research of Revit Plugins & workflows, monitoring of relevant equipment, interacting with developers on bugs & features updates

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Helpdesk Tickets triaging
• Revit Support & Troubleshooting
• Revit Content Generation
• Revit Content Optimization for CGI
• Creation of Revit documents/procedures/training material
• Revit Systems development
• Creation and management of supporting Revit Systems
• BIM Helpdesk Support

ADVANTAGEOUS CRITERIA

• Knowledge regarding modelling & adapting various 3D elements for CGI use
• Knowledge regarding 3D modelling workflows and various
• Ability to visualize future problems that may arise from Revit systems development.
• Have a working understanding of 3D visualization software (1st Twinmotion / 2nd Lumion / 3rd Enscape)
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in a similar role

• Advanced parametric Revit Families
• Advanced Geometry modelling
