Boilermaker(TC 39) at Werkie

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair structures, tanks, and pressure vessels using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Install pipelines, equipment, and fixtures according to technical drawings.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal plates and sections to required dimensions.
• Conduct inspections, identify defects, and perform necessary repairs.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other tradespeople on projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Job Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate.
• Trade certification or apprenticeship in Boilermaking.
• Proven experience as a Boilermaker / Welder or in a similar role.
• Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience within the food or FMCG industry will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, and metal fabrication techniques.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
