Job Description:

• The Boilermaker will be responsible to provide construction, technical and related engineering services to the to underground areas within the scope of our project. You will achieve safe production performance targets and requirements, assemble, install, commission and maintain your areas of responsibility which includes machinery and equipment to the agreed standards.

Minimum Qualifications required:

• Grade 12 or Technical Trade Specific N3/4
• Certified Competent as Boilermaker or Boilermaker Trade Certificate

Experience required:

• At least 5 years experience in the Mining Sector
• At least 5 years experience in an underground construction environment

Skills Required:

• Good communication skills, must be English literate (speak, read and write)
• Ability to work in a team
• Computer Literate, basic computer skills
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook will be advantageous
• Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures
• Must be familiar with the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Valid driving license

Successful candidates will be required to subject to the following:

• Validation of qualifications
• Competency tests
• Medical assessment (must be medically fit)
